YOUR MATEBERTY

Everyone wants to talk to Berty.

Now you can take your mate with you, wherever life takes you.

Your Mate Berty is a personal and family life organiser from Bonnibel Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Australia. Tell Berty what’s on your mind, by voice or text, on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or the web, and he sorts it into your Hub, Streams and Top Three. Your data is stored in Australia, and Berty does his thinking here too.

Meet Berty: He sat at my feet.

Walk down any street with Berty and people stop. They smile, they ask what breed he is, and they talk to him before they talk to you.

Berty is my lilac Border Collie. He sat at my feet while I was building with AI: the computers talking, the screens glowing, one AI building something and another questioning it.

He was just there. Watching. Waiting. Keeping me company.

Berty, the dog the app is named after.

One day I looked down at him and thought:

“Okay buddy. You get your own app.”

It was funny. But it wasn’t really a joke. The same machines that could build companies could help a person organise their life: remember things, think things through, capture moments, understand context, and help when nobody else was available.

Because perhaps the greatest technology isn’t the technology that makes us look more impressive. It’s the technology that helps us live better.
